Jeff Lloyd's path to wellness

Hello Friends:
As absurd as this may sound, Jeff's health has taken another twist. For the last few months his blood cells (red, white and platelets) have been dropping to a point where they were too low to allow him to get chemo treatment for his Multiple Myeloma. The oncologists were concerned about this drop and ordered some testing. About a month ago Jeff had a bone marrow biopsy (big needle into hip bone) and the sample revealed a large number of Leukemia; yes Leukemia, cells in his bone marrow. Jeff's blood cells have been compromised by this new, aggressive cancer. Jeff has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (emphasis on acute) that needs immediate treatment. Unlike the treatment for Myeloma, the treatment for this disease will require hospitalization. Jeff has been in the hospital since December 15th for a 21 day regime of chemotherapy. The treatment will be aggressive, but not quite as lethal as his stem cell transplant of 3 years ago.
Once they've killed off all these leukemia cells, they will be targeting another stem cell transplant, but this time with donor cells, not his own. While this introduces a risk for rejection, etc it will potentially be a cure for not only ALL, but also MM. That’s right, a possible cure, no more messy weekly treatments and anxiety of cancer’s return. This is what will be keeping Jeff going through this tough time.
Jeff and his family are going to have medical bills piling up. Jeff has been a dedicated employee and friend at Monster for many years and has always been there for others. Now it is time for us to be here for Jeff and his family in their time of need. Please donate what you can and share with others to contribute.
Thank you so very much for your support.
We wish Jeff a full and speedy recovery.
