On Monday September 19th, the home of Carlos Amaya and his family, was destroyed by a fire. There are not many words that I can type up in this short little bio that will be enough, because this did not happen to me, therefore I can't even begin to understand what Carlos and his family are going through right now. What I can do, what we can all do, is show him our support. The Amaya Family must start over. They lost everything in this fire, but we can show them that at least they have their friends, family, and community behind them to support them in this difficult time. Please consider donating any amount you can, anything helps. If anyone knows of an apartment or home for rent in the Downtown San Jose area or close to Downtown, please let Carlos know. Your donations will go towards basic necessities such as food, clothing, lodging, and whatever else the family will need in the next couple of months. Please show your love and support. Thank you.
