On Saturday, October 4th, while working at SoulMex, something I never imagined happened — my phone was stolen right out from where I work.
I use my phone constantly at SoulMex to ring up orders, process payments, and stay connected with our amazing customers. I also rely on it for my nail business, so it’s not just a phone — it’s a big part of how I make my living.
That night, I set my phone on top of the money box, just like I always do, and stepped away for a moment to hand out drinks and orders. When I came back, it was gone. I searched everywhere, called it immediately, but it went straight to voicemail — whoever took it had already turned it off.
It’s honestly heartbreaking. I work hard for everything I have, and to have a “customer” take something so personal and important feels really discouraging.
I’m hoping with the help of our amazing community, loyal customers, and friends, I can raise enough to replace my phone and get back on track for both of my jobs. Every little bit helps, and I can’t thank you enough for any support, shares, or kind words.
