My name is Lisa Tirado, and it was on August 15, 2016 that Victor Castronovo III walked into my office, his cheerful self of course. We talked about his recent surgical procedure that he had with a lymph node being removed from the left side of his neck. We joked about how he had a softball on the side of his neck. We laughed and I told him, "Well at least you still look good on your right side." With many laughs, it was then the conversation became serious and Victor looked at me and said, "I just hope I don't have to undergo chemo!" It would be that night when I had just arrived home from work that my phone rang and I received the news from my daughter, Brandi Lee...."Mom, Victor has cancer!" Thoughts going through my mind, unanswered questions to god of why is this happening to my children and my dear Grandson Carter. Days to follow we found out that cancer really does suck! Victor has been diagnosed with Stage IIIB Hodgkins Lyphoma at the age of 23. He is currently in a huge fight with chemotherapy, many tests, procedures & appointments. Undergoing treatment every other week for the next 6 months leaving him sick, weak, unable to go to work at times, or even unable to have a light saber fight with his son. We are not a family that asks for help, however we are hopeful to get any type of monetary donation to ease some of the stress off of Victor to go towards his medical expenses, travel expenses, and daily expenses.
A big thank you from the Castronovo & Tirado families for your donation. We <3 you all.
