Dyan Alexader-Velez

As many of you at American Airlines know, Dyan was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and recently underwent a double mastectomy. Dyan is in recovery, although many challenges lie ahead, including, but not limited to a breast reconstruction operation. Her husband and I have been best friends since the Puerto Rico days, and Dyan actually transferred to Miami at the same time I did back in 1992. Cancer is an epidemic and while we may think we are prepared for whatever we may encounter, nothing can prepare us for both the emotional and financial toll we may encounter. While you are trying to cope with the recovery, and make difficult financial decisions, the bills keep mounting! For this reason I'm starting this fund, and I hope you will join me! God Bless!
