Steel Drumming Band Disney Trip

The Steel Drumming Band is an ensemble from The Sanibel School in Sanibel, FL made up of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  In this band, students learn how to read music, learn how to play a variety of repertoire on the steel drums, and have the opportunity to participate in performances.  

Recently, The Steel Drumming Band submitted an audition video and application to apply to do a performance at Walt Disney World.  Only the best groups have the opportunity to perform at Walt Disney World.  After a review of the video and application, The Steel Drumming Band's Disney application was accepted!  The band will be performing at Walt Disney World on Friday, March 17.

The kids in the band and the entire Sanibel School community are thrilled at this exciting opportunity!  A performance at Disney would be a wonderful and once in a lifetime experience for the kids.
