You will want to save the date, November 10, 2016.  After 55 years of plying his trade, Denny Walsh will retire.   Banished from the Bee, Reporter Denny Walsh was dispatched to the Siberian outpost (we call the U.S. District Court beat) in 1991.  For the last 25 years he has called the courthouse home and the employees and attorneys that work there his friends.

Time magazine once called Walsh the most sued reporter in America.  At Life magazine, he was sued 52 times and prevailed each time.

We are seeking financial support for Denny's retirement bash from the legal, business and journalism communities.  Any funds not spent on the party itself will be gifted to Denny at the gala event.  For those of you who love and admire him, it will be a gesture of fondness and best wishes.  For others, look at it as an insurance premium-- to insure that his retirement is irreversible and that his typewriter is permanently moth-balled.
