Tom Wentzel's Scooter Fund

Please do not tell Tom!
My good friend and fellow Zeeland Firefighter (now medically Retired) was electrocuted battling a house fire several years ago. Tom has been battling medical problems from which the doctors say are a result of being electrocuted and of recently Tom had a portion of his leg removed.
They are still trying to figure out how to get it 100% healed and get him in a working prosthetic, He is having surgery again early November and I would love to present this by then so he has the peace and mind  knowing he'll have an easier time getting around.
The crutches and the knee cart hurts too much!!

Recently Tom had the opportunity to try one of these mobility scooters out and absolutely loved it so I would love to be able to present one of these to Tom.
The E-Wheels can go anywhere a wheel chair can go and is all electric. I plan on purchasing local at Verhage Motors in Holland. 

If you all know Tom he is very proud and does not ask for anything or any help and would kill me if he knew I was doing this so please keep it a secret!! (luckily for me he isn't on the web :))
