Hope for Henrietta

Hi, my name is Amy and I have a beautiful niece and goddaughter named Henrietta Loui. She is feisty, strong, and fiercely protective of her siblings and parents. She adores her cousins, is generous, and is such a pure hearted child. I would like to share her story.
Only a few days before Henrietta’s 6th birthday, on October 4th after a month of scary symptoms, our little Henrietta was diagnosed with a very rare, very large, aggressive sinus tumor. It's eroded her skull base into her brain cavity and has destroyed everything behind her sweet little face.
On October 16th her case was presented at a national radiology conference to discuss her procedure. We are very thankful to have Lurie (located in Chicago) so close by and thankful that they've elevated her case to the best of the best. As thankful as we are she still has a very long road ahead and I'm sure you can imagine we are also terrified.
On October 26th she underwent a very long and complicated surgical procedure with 4 lead attending doctors of neurosurgery, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery. They removed "all of the tumor they could see". (Amongst repairs for her well being)
On October 31st we received news that her tumor is in fact a very rare Osteosarcoma of the sinus cavity. She will need a minimum of 6 months in patient chemotherapy and "several reconstructive surgeries".
As anyone could imagine this is the beginning of a very long journey and we are reaching out to our communities for help and support for Henrietta and her family during this process.
Any financial support will be used for medical bills and supporting the family during this process of hospital visits and treatments. We extend our gratitude and appreciate your support during this time.
Please keep hope. Hope for Henrietta.
