Stephen Sissel lung-transplant fund

Hello everyone! My name is Susan Elise Van Ausdall, and I am raising money my for my cousin, Stephen Sissel Jr. and his family. He is the father of two wonderful girls, brother to two sisters, and a devoted son.

Stephen is from West Portsmouth, Ohio and was forced to retire as a police officer because of his lungs.  He has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and doctors cannot rule out that it was caused from raiding meth labs while he was on a drug task force.

Stephen is currently in ICU at the Cleveland Clinic waiting for a lung transplant. His family lives over four hours away, and they are spending a lot of money on lodging, food and medical bills. I am asking for your help so his family can afford to stay close while they wait for his transplant and subsequent recovery.  The recovery process takes many months, which will cost an enormous amount of money for lodging and of course miscellaneous medical costs.

I know it would mean a lot having his daughters, sisters and parents close by while he waits and throughout his long recovery.
