Jade's Celebration of Life

This GoFundMe is created in an effort to raise money for the celebration of life and burial of Jade Brooking.  Who am I?  My name is Cynthia Taylor, one of the many friends Michelle Riley, Jade's mother, has and we are all coming together to help our friend by asking for donations to assist with the funeral.   Who was Jade?  Those of us who had the privilege of having Jade in our lives can testify to her enormous love for God, her big heart and consideration for others, and her resilience.   Jade never quit!  Every obstacle life has ever thrown her way, she indeed worked very hard until she reached her goals no matter how hard things became.  Jade worked as a very loving early education teacher for several years.  She was excited about moving into a new apartment in just a few weeks.  It is very hurtful to know this is one goal she will never be able to achieve.  Just yesterday, her mother received the heartbreaking call that Jade was hit while in the crosswalk on Addison Road in Captial Heights, Maryland where she exchanged time for eternity right there at the scene.  Jade's Celebration of Life is so important because she would not want us to be sad and by celebrating who she was is the only proper way to begin closure.  This tragedy indeed has caught everyone off guard, yet it does not negate the fact that the family has to proceed with arrangments.  Jade would want us to celebrate her life and savor the love that she left behind.  When we reach our goal, the family will then be able to confirm the funeral arrangements.  Any donations over the goal amount will be used by Jade's mother and father to assist them with picking up the pieces of their lives after this tragedy.  Thank you in advance from all of us standing in love on behalf of our beautiful angel Jade Brooking.  God's blessings to each of you who are able to support via donations or prayer for the family.
