Daniel Ferencsik Fund
Donation protected
Daniel Ferencsik awoke this past weekend to find his custom-designed conversion van up in flames in front of his home. Suffolk County police say a drunken driver struck two parked vehicles — the van and another car on Avenue B — and ignited a fire just before 3 a.m. Sunday.
The 18-year-old Ferencsik was born with spinal muscular atrophy. He says the van was his lifeline when it come to getting to and from class at Farmingdale State College. He's now forced to take public transportation and says the commute takes about two hours instead of the usual half-hour.
This fund has been set up to help Daniel out in the time until has the transportation he needs is back where it belongs. Danny has a wonderful family and anything we as a community can do to help them in this time can and should be done. In this unforseen circumstance any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

*all money raised will be accepted by Danny's mother Theresa Ferencsik.
