Lincolns treatment

Lincoln was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called tuberous sclerosis. This disease caused tubers to grow in any area of the body. Very rarely does it cause malignant tumors. Lincoln was in the hospital 5 days and was undergoing test for his epilepsey. One of the doctors thought one of the tumors in Lincolns brain wasn't right(he has 3) they predicted it had grown and that's what was causing the severe seizures. They had taken him off his medication but the seizures were dangerous now and a code blue was called 3 times for him. A nuerosurgeon determined that this tumor was inoperable and the neuro team were confident that this tumor was causing the epilepsey abd that it was cancerous. A few weeks later they did an MRI and sure enough the tumor had grown faster then what is normal. In less than 3 months his tumor had gone from just smaller than a dime to the size of a fifty cent piece. They determined that it was a stage 3 cancerous tumor and he started chemo the week after. We hope to raise enough money to mainly cover the machine he will need to leave the house. It will deliver oxygen to him and make it safer for him to be around people and lessen his chances of getting sick, it can also help him from getting tired as easy and let him live a normal life. Other things this would help with is gas, parking, medication, and copays.
