Starting July of 2015, Roy began having extreme pain in his right hip and leg and soon developed drop foot which causes him to have to walk in a brace.  Many medical tests and procedures this past year failed to  reveal the cause or relieve the pain. He still suffers from it constantly.  Several thousand dollars of medical bills piled up even though he has paid monthly amounts faithfully. 
      Now, on top of all that, he has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is scheduled for surgery on October 6, and is expected to be out of work for 2-12 weeks. In addition, his high-deductible insurance year started over on September 1, so the surgery will probably cost him around $15,000 out-of-pocket. 
      Roy has always paid his bills diligently, and now these are certainly beyond his means.  We'd love to relieve him of that difficulty and hope you'll join us by donating. 
      Roy is the father of Daniel Devisscher and Ladonna  Devisscher Hafen,  and "Papa" to our children. He's been married to Sandy Devisscher for 40 years and works as a pastor in Texas.
