Hello everyone!

My name is Lydia Sanabria, and I am Rachel’s sister. At 9am on February 6th, on our way to school my sister and I hydroplaned on black ice and crashed in 3 fences. My 18 year old sister sustained severe injuries to the right side of her face, a laceration from the top of her temple to her cheek. She got to the nearest hospital and was then medi-flighted to UC Davis, due to swelling of her brain. 


She had eye surgery later on that day to repair a slash on her sclera and to fix the laceration on her face. As of right now, she has no vision in her right eye.


Rachel is a bright, intellectual individual with a whole life ahead of her. She is a full-time student, in an honors program, and currently on the dean’s list at her college. She is also involved in full-time ministry at her church, specifically the children’s ministry and praise team. 


She has a lot of expenses to pay for cosmetic surgery, and many eye surgeries to come and we know that God is going to help but this is a time where we really need help financially. Whatever God places on your heart to give, my family and I will be forever grateful.  Thank you in advance for helping our family in our time of need.
