Milner Family Fund

On the 8th April 2016 Paul Milner said goodbye to his wife Natacha and 3 boys and went to work. Little did he know that he would be involved in a horrific accident which would change his life and the lives of his family forever. A large metal hook, which had been at high tension, flew through the window of Paul's tractor and hit him in the head. 

Paul suffered horrendous head injuries and was very lucky to survive. The injuries he sustained are life changing and long lasting. He has been in hospital since April undergoing intense treatment and although he is about to be discharged home, he faces many operations to reconstruct the damage done to his skull. Paul requires constant care and assistance and this responsibility falls on his amazing wife Natacha.

Paul was self employed and as such is no longer getting paid. The family have had to modify parts of the house, some of that at their expense and are having to fund private neuro physiotherapy to aid Paul's recovery.  They have been living off their savings but these are now depleted. 

In addition to this situation, one of the boys needs extra support to process such a traumatic event and another has his own severe medical needs which means he needs many surgeries and lots of treatment himself. As you can imagine, emotionally these circumstances are difficult and the strained finances are just adding to an already stressful situation. 

We are setting up this fund to assist Paul and his family get through the next few months and Christmas. Any funds raised would make a huge difference to the Milner family!  

This GoFundMe was set up by Natacha's birth board mummy friends. We all have children the same age as one of the Milner boys and wanted to do something to help. But now we are asking that others consider helping too. Please, if you can, donate some pennies to this amazingly strong and resilient family.
