UPDATE: My dad passed into eternal rest Friday night 9/23/16 at home. We are still needing to raise money for funeral costs. This was very sudden and unexpected as he has been ill for only a few weeks. We currently have nothing planned except to honor his wish for a ground burial. Donations are so extremely appreciated. Thank you so much for taking time to visit this fundraiser. My dad, Samuel, was diagnosed with a very aggresive cancer and is currently on bedrest. This came seemingly out of nowhere, so we have found ourselves so completely unprepared for everything that has happened over the past two weeks.
On Labor Day he went into the emergency room for some pains in his back and leg. After extensive testing, it was found that he had a broken femor and injured spine. Soon after this news came a cancer diagnosis.
We know that our God is greater than this and can heal all things if He so wills. As we continue to pray for his physical and bodily healing, he has needs that must be met in the time being.
Currently he has expensive medicinal and medical needs that are not covered by insurance that are adding up. Because the conventional medical field has little left to offer my dad in terms of healing, alternative means are being sought (which, if you know my dad well, you will know this is what he prefers anyways). Jakelin has been faithfully and lovingly caring him around the clock, but this places a great financial strain as neither of them are able to work.
If you are able to donate anything to help, we so greatly appreciate it and promise it will be used frugally and with the greatest respect and care for my dad. Every little bit helps.
