Field Reconstruction Project

Please help support community baseball!!

Sorensco Babe Ruth has undertaken an effort to revitalize the S2 baseball field behind Goff Middle School. Once a field that hosted modified and Babe Ruth games, the field has fallen into disrepair and needs a total makeover - cutting out the infield, base paths and home plate area, laying new infield material, rebuilding the mound, and installing a new home plate and bases. Once the field is completed, it will provide another practice space for our league's five travel teams, allow the league to host tournaments, and provide another practice space for the schools' modified and freshman teams. Renovation has begun, but we need your support to finish the project!!

Sorensco Babe Ruth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that operates largely through the support of the local community.  The league serves close to 150 families in the East Greenbush, Schodack, and Castleton communities with our programs of rec and travel baseball.  With your support, our volunteer league can continue to offer the children of our community a safe place to learn the values of hard work, good sportsmanship, and being part of a team.
