Help Ms. Jacque overcome disaster

This is my dear mother Jacqueline Bonner Williams' front yard. She is 80 years old. The items in the  yard are comprised of decades of gifts, furniture, pictures and original paintings, and many memories. They also include flooring, sheet rock, wood trim and many other ruined items required to build a complete house.
               Last Sunday we were forced to leave due to rising water in Baton Rouge, La and the Great Flood of 2016! Our dog named Abby went into heart failure and had to be put to sleep the next day. She couldnt take the stress and we both lost a dear companion.  We returned to the house, flooring and furniture in a mess. A few things could be saved but not very much. She must start over at 80 years old and she doesnt need the stress of hoping FEMA will help out.
             My name is Sid, her son. and we have both been removing carpets, hardwood floors, furniture basically by ourselves over the last 7 days and It looks as if the damage is going to be well over $40,000. She does  not have a home anymore and fema is working at a snails pace. I am concerned that if she continues to work hard at this house disaster, it will make her stiff back worse and emotionally drain her as well.
          She didnt have flood insurance because it has never been mandatory until after Katrina,  it has never flooded in this area, and it was just too expensive at $1400/yr. She retired several years ago and social security is the only income she has. Let me add, that she is definitely  not the type of person to ask for help. So, I am doing this on her behalf.
            She is the sweetest, most kind and least self centered person I know, and I would love to repay the kindness she has given me and others through the years.  She is my best friend, mentor and I love her with all my heart!!!!!!
