This Fund has been created to assist a very loving family who has recently endured a tragic loss of their young children.
On Friday afternoon, Sept. 16, the Mosley family were loaded up on a weekend trip to TN from Canal Winchester (Columbus, OH)for family members' 50th anniversary. As the family of 6 met up with the typical slow downs of afternoon traffic...at that moment, their lives would never be the same.
A semi-truck moving at highway speed struck the rear of the Mosley's 3 row seating SUV; pushing the rear of the SUV nearly to the back of the front seats. A horrifying sight.
I was traveling home from work on 270, on the phone with my wife when I saw the accident scene very soon after it occurred as I was passing from just on the other side of the highway divider. I told my wife that I prayed there was no other passengers besides a driver in the vehicle, due to the condition of the vehicle as rescue personel worked around the vehicle.
My wife & I later found out that not only was the SUV carrying a family of 6, but the 2 oldest daughters of 7 & 9 years of age, were in the 3rd row seat. The other 2 children 4 year old son & 15 month old daughter were in the 2nd row. At the same time, we found out their identity & that we knew them as a great part of our church family. The news was devastating. All of them sustained several different levels of injuries, the children worse of all.
From Friday until Monday, too much has happened to documment here. However, over the past 2 days, the Mosley's 7 & 9 year old daughters have succumbed to their injuries. Theywill be spending eternity in heaven & will be organ donors.
This fund is for the family for anything they need, all of which will not return their beloved daughters to them.
I pray for peace in time for our Mosely family knowing their lives will never be the same.
I can not begin to thank everyone in advance for the generosity of your donations to a family with such a tragic loss of 2 of their daughters that you may not even know.
Thank you all & God Bless.....
