Tim Thomas Memorial Fund

This GoFundMe account is set up to honor the memory of Tim Thomas. One of his great passions was to champion awarness and research in finding a cure for gastroparesis, a condition that his wife, Katie Slattery, suffers from. In his pursuit of promoting an understanding of this rare condition, Tim wrote a book titled My Mom Has Gastroparesis. 'The book breaks down the condition into the simplest terms in order to convey and allow a child to comprehend and get a grasp on the situation.' He also was in the planning process of starting his own charity in order to raise money for GP research. Rather than flowers or gifts, Katie and Tim's families would both like to make his dreams a reality. Every dollar raised will be sent to Johns Hopkins University to be used specifically for the advancment of GP research.
