Support the Bazzi Family

For the fourth time, the Bazzi family has been touched by cancer. Sam (Hussein) has stage four lung cancer. At this time, Doctors have determined that his body is too damaged to withstand treatment--they are going to make him as comfortable as possible for as long as they can.
The Bazzis have received an outpouring of love--from friends, family, even strangers. Many have asked how they can help, so those close to the Bazzi’s have started a gofundme page on their behalf. Cancer has been a tremendous financial burden as well as an emotional roller coaster. Your support will help Jenna and Nancy cover mounting bills and focus on giving Sam (Hussein) all they can at this time.
About the Bazzis
Sam (Hussein) and Nancy Bazzi have been married for over 30 years, raising two beautiful daughters, Chelsey and Jenna. Throughout the years, they have been faced with many challenges, standing by each other’s side through it all. As many of you know, cancer is no stranger to the Bazzi family. Their oldest daughter Chelsey battled cancer as a toddler; when she was 18, her cancer returned as a brain tumor. After two long years of fighting, Chelsey was called to heaven in February 2010. During this time Sam (Hussein) and Nancy never left her side. Sam (Hussein) quit his job to stay with Chelsey while Nancy only left the hospital for work to support the family.
Shortly after Chelsey passed, the Bazzi family had another battle to fight; Nancy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After several months of fighting, our prayers were answered and Nancy was declared cancer free.
A few months ago Sam (Hussein) became mysteriously ill and doctors struggled to find the cause of his illness. He was so weak and in such tremendous amount of pain that the illness prevented him from working. After many tests, his doctors finally had an answer. Once again the Bazzi family would hear the words that no family wants to hear. Sam (Hussein) was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. His cancer had already metastasized in his bones and lymph nodes. Right away, Sam (Hussein) began fighting for his life. Doctors struggled to stabilize Sam (Hussein)’s vital signs. Nancy and Jenna are using their all of paid time off to stay by Sam (Hussein)’s side. Nancy stayed with her husband day and night but was forced to leave to go work at times to continue paying all of the family’s bills. Your support will allow them to focus on family in this difficult time.
We thank you again for your love, support and prayers. It is greatly appreciated.
