Welcome to Team Tammy!
We created this account to help support our dear friend and coworker Tammy Wieland.
Tammy has long struggled with recurring brain tumors and has undergone multiple surgeries throughout her life. Unfortunately, this last surgery has left her with stroke-like deficits affecting her speech, memory and fine motor skills. Tammy's medical benefits will run out at the end of this month. Our goal is raise enough funds to help Tammy continue with physical therapy, etc until other benefit arrangements can be made.
The truth is the world would be a better place with more people like Tammy. She is even more beautiful on the inside than she is on the outside. She has an energetic spirit and is an amazing nurse and human being.
Let's help Tammy stay on the road to recovery. We all know she's ready to be back in her running shoes hitting the pavement. She's not ready to give up and neither should we.
