Scout's Thailand Elephant Mission

Ever since I was little, animals have always been a huge part of my life. From always volunteering at the shelter, to being surrounded by my loving pets, animals are my passion. I've always had a special place in my heart for elephants. Their wise eyes, and gentle souls. It pains me to think about the fact that currently, in 10 years an elephant in the wild will cease to exist. So it's always been a dream of mine to venture to an elephant sanctuary and help do my part to save them. At age 11 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and had a craniotomy and radiation treatment. Until this year its been a huge up hill battle, and it always will be, but I finally feel like I'm well enough to embark on a journey I've dreamt about since I was little. Elephant Nature Park elephant sanctuary in Thailand is an incredible place, and I would love to volunteer there in Thailand and film a short documentary (incorporating my passion for film) for my senior thesis project (STP). I am hoping to make my trip to Thailand in April as it will be the dry season then and there is more you can do with the elephants. Please help me acheive my dream.
