My name is James Lindsay and I’d like to tell you about my sister, Jamie Lindsay. On Septemeber 19, 2016 my beautiul sister passed away after many years of chronic pain and numerous surgeries. Jamie was a vibrant woman who hardly met a stranger! She grew up in Idaho and would have loved nothing more than to return to her home in Cache Valley. In her 31 years here on this Earth she experienced more physical pain than most of us could imagine. In 1999 she was involved in a major car crash that left her with a broken back. Ever since then she has experienced many complications that led from that injury. Two years ago Jamie had her first of almost 40 surgeries. It always seemed like she had a new complication from the previous surgery and a new surgery to fix the problem. Nothing ever seemed to work. However, Jamie never lost sight of her Faith and her love of life. Part of that was due to the love of her three young children. Jamie always tried to stay strong for her babies, even when she couldn’t get out of bed most days. Desiree, Alyssa, and Landyn always knew that Mama Loved them! After all this, you would think she could have received disability from the State. But that was not the case. Jamie fought for the last 5 years to get some help, as she was unable to work due to her pain and other complications. To this day we are waiting on a judge to decide if she qualifies for aid. Jamie didn’t have much, but she gave all she had for her babies and those she called friend of family. This fundraiser is an attempt to help those that loved Jamie give her a proper farewell. It is an attempt to give back to a woman who would have given whatever she had to help someone else. Any funds over the funeral expenses will go to help with her three beautiful children and their future needs. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about my baby sister. She will be missed, but we are comforted in knowing that she is finally pain free!
