As most of you know, I have been working directly in ALL of the EDH elementary schools for the past 6 years as the Primary Intervention Specialist with the PIP PROGRAM. I work 1 on 1 with kids who are referred to me by teachers who are dealing with emotional, social or mental issues in the school setting. I address these issues directly with the students in a fun and engaging way and together we find solutions to enrich their overall educational experience which benefits ALL students at the school. I have a long waiting list of kids to be seen. I also meet with smaller groups of 4th and 5th graders soon to enter the scary world of Jr high and I regularly meet with ALL students daily and check up on their emotional and mental health.
In mid 2016, I switched fiscal agents to the El Dorado Community Foundation and cannot transfer over the County funds that are assigned to the PIP PROGRAM until 2017. I need your help so I can continue my work through 2016.
Please give what you can to support the KIDS. EVERY DOLLAR goes directly to the service of kids. There is NO overhead or administrative costs. It ALL goes to the KIDS.
