Help reunite this 8 year old boy and his mother!- This little boy hasn't seen his mother in 106 days. Kari willingly gave her childs father temporary custody when she realised she needed help. She's been clean and sober for over a year now, and has been fighting tooth and nail to remain in contact with her little man. Their visits have been few and far between. Her ex was granted full custody while she was cleaning up her life and getting her ducks in a row. Kari has moved in with her mother, sister and sisters children. She has a safe home and tons of love and support from her family. She's currently in job training and has remained in therapy. A custody trial is coming up and she has been recommended to a wonderful attorney. She would never take her son away from his father. She just wants to share custody. In order to do this, she needs to prove to a judge that she is capable. She is ready, willing and able, but Attorneys, as we all know, cost money. $3,000 is our goal as this is the attorneys retainer. At that point Kari knows she will be gainfully employed and capable of paying the rest of the fees on her own. She's meeting her goals and doing her best. Not a day goes by that this woman isn't concentrating on the best route to be with her son. Let's help reunite this family. We've all fallen on hard times and made some mistakes. This woman has come so far and Kari and her son miss each other very much.
I fully and without reservation believe in this woman. She's on the right road, made amends for her mistakes, taken accountability and has done everything to rectify the situation. If you know Kari like I know Kari, you'll agree with me when I say she will never again allow an addiction to come between her and her son.
