Surgery Fund for Raahul Soundappan

One of our new members suffered an ACL tear, a lateral/medial meniscus tear, and a patella shift during a pick up football game a few weeks ago. He is an excellent young man who is heavily involved in the Terry College of Business and the Athens community. He has a stellar GPA, and is a great person. He will bring a lot to the Theta Chi chapter and Delta Sigma Phi on a national level. Unfortunately, his health insurance plan will still require him to pay $7,500 out of pocket, not including any PT costs. The national insurance policy was not able to help cover any of his deductible. We would greatly appreciate any help that could be provided. If we cannot help him raise the money for his surgery, he will have to drop. Our initiation is this week and I cannot imagine it happening without Raahul there. He embodies culture, harmony, and friendship unlike anyone I have met in my four years of involvement with Delta Sigma Phi. Raahul, his family, and the chapter are incredibly thankful for any help that can be provided.
