Life Celebration of Jorge Banda

Hello, everyone! This is Michelle, one of Jorge's three sisters. This page was created on behalf of the Banda family and is dedicated to the life of Jorge Armando Banda and his two young sons. 

Jorge was tragically taken from our family on Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was the innocent victim of a car chase in Culver City, California. Jorge was only 33 years young and is survived by his two sons, Sean (age 10) and Charlie (age 7).

Jorge was a wonderful father, a devoted son, a loyal brother, a loving uncle and a faithful friend. He had a true passion for life and a great love for his family. Jorge was the youngest of four brothers. He was his mother's "Tesoro", or treasure. Jorge had an unforgetable laugh and always had a big bright smile on his face. Jorge will ALWAYS be remembered by all the lives that he had touched.

As a family, we are setting up this page for Jorge's boys. Many people have expressed the eagerness to help the boys financially. Donations will go toward all future savings for Sean and Charlie (day-to-day expenses, school expenses, two college funds). Jorge's older brother and sister-in-law, Luis (Chino) and Stephanie Banda, will be managing the funds for the boys.

Jorge's sons are left without their dedicated father at such a young age. We are all doing our best to help guide his boys and to keep them strong.

We would like to thank everyone for the love and support you've given our family during this tragic time in our lives. We feel that Jorge is still with us in spirit. We know that he is smiling down on us and showing us all his love.
