Greetings! Our amazing, loving, beautiful, friend Bonnie Stone is having a baby girl in mid~October. What a magical time! As you know, Bonnie is a blessing to so many of us. Her knowledge of the Montessori ways of teaching, her grace and patience, her gentle spirit, her passion and understanding of children will give her the ability to be an outstanding Mother. We have supported her as our friend, teacher, singing/musical partner, adventure companion, fellow goofball, creative warrior... Its time to support her in her new role, as a MOTHER. I have zero doubt that she will be a phenomenal Mom, but we all know life is not free. Bonnie and Kevin will be paying for their little one out of pocket. According to the USDA, the cost of raising a baby to the age of 18 is a daunting $255,350 and that doesnt include college! Both Bonnie & Kevin will face an UNpaid maternity/paternity leave. They have a long road ahead. Wont you please help by giving whatever dollar amount you can? Your well wishes and words of encouragement are just as valuable to Bonnie, but simply, money will make the transition into parenthood a little less scary.
