Peter Raymond Whitney 25/04/74 - 17/09/16

Pete battled hard against the melanoma which recently claimed his life.  By his side never faultering was his tower of strength, his lifelong partner Kera, and his shining lights, his children Pacey and Tatiana.   Both Pete and Kera would never ask for anything off anyone but the simple fact is that even in their time of grief, bills still need to be paid and mouths still need to be fed.  In Kera's culture this is called Koha money.

"The koha reflects the mana of both the giver and the recipient, reflecting what the giver is able to give, and the esteem they hold of the person or group they are making the gift to - and hence plays an important part in cementing good relations, and is taken very seriously, with misunderstanding having the potential to give offence."

This page has been established as a token of the lifelong friendship and love many of us have shared with Pete, Kera, Pacey and Tatiana.
