My brother, Steve Cygan only 64 is an incredible fighter. He's battled Pancreatic cancer since 2006. That's an amazing 18 years of struggle and surgeries and treatments. No one I know has survived longer with this disease than my courageous and determined brother. Throughout the years his rock has been his wife Laurie and sons Logan and Colton. He was last in Reno August, trying to enjoy his passion for cars and attending Hot August Nights.

Recently, Steve has taken a turn for the worse and just three weeks ago he was forced to have a bowel resection and feeding ube inserted because he cannot keep food down. This once strapping man of 220 pounds at 6'2" is now down to a mere 122 pounds. The site of him wasting away is tormenting the family. The feeding tube procedure brought complications which have led to three surgeries in the past week alone. He's been hospitalized for almost 21 days. I'm asking first for your prayers for his health and comfort, for comfort and strength for his family and for financial assistance for the burden these medical costs are creating. The family is praying he will be able to come home soon and be assisted with home health care, an expensive but necessary option.
