Hi everyone,

As many of you already know, I’m currently in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. I’ve been in treatment programs since May 2nd, and now the end of this chapter is quickly approaching. While it’s exciting and relieving to see how far I’ve come, it also brings a lot of stress for what comes next.

To maintain the progress I’ve made, my next step is moving into a sober living environment. This is truly the best option for me—it offers structure, accountability, and the support I need to stay on track. But, like many things, it comes with a cost. The initial move-in fee is $200, followed by $200 in weekly rent.

Because I’ve been in treatment full-time, I haven’t been able to work, which has left me without a steady income—or even active phone service. That’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe with a goal of $400. This would help cover the move-in cost and part of my first week’s rent, giving me the opportunity to transition smoothly into this new phase.

The thought of leaving treatment has honestly been causing me a lot of stress, but I’m staying hopeful and focused on what I need most right now: a safe, sober, and supportive environment filled with people who understand and uplift me. In sober living, we attend multiple AA/NA meetings a week, and I’ve found that being around strong, positive women in recovery makes a huge difference. I was in a similar program earlier this year and loved it—I’m ready to take that step again, and this time, stay grounded in it for the long haul.
