Makayla Milbury

Two-year old Makayla Milbury is critically ill with E. coli poisoning and her kidneys started to fail last week. She is currently in isolation on dialysis and will have at least 4 blood transfusions. Her family has to travel 2hrs daily as they have 3 other children to care for, one of whom is Makayla's twin sister, Mackenzie. She will be in the IWK in Halifax for at least the next 4 weeks.

Makayla's father; Dana, just went back to college this Fall and after taking the first two weeks off, he has to get back to classes in the next week leaving her mom Tracy to have to commute regularly for their other 3 children. They are currently not working, have no student loan to fall back on, and CCTB  is delayed until October so their financial situation is also critical. We are seeking help from you so they can continue to commute to care for their children while Makayla is in the hospital, anything donated will be a big help!
