Getting A Defibrillator
Donation protected
I recently discovered I have a thickened septum. My doctors believe I need a defibrillator implanted, as I am at risk of sudden death. At the very least I will need a very dangerous ablation surgery due to the area of my heart where the problem is. When I came to Florida to help with some family health emergencies from Massachusetts, I was covered by my MA Medicare supplement for a year. Unfortunately I cannot get the FL equivalent because I have a pre existing condition. The insurance I was able to get does not cover nearly as much as MA did, and now I am left to cover many more co pays and medical costs myself. I am going next week for a cardiac MRI and will keep everyone posted with the progress. Any amount, even $1 will help. If you cannot donate a dollar amount please pass this along. Your help is greatly appreciated, and thank you so much to everyone who has donated already!
