My dear friends Kamila and Mike welcomed their sweet baby girl Roslyn into the world just three months after my own Everley was born. However due to some complications during the birth spent 3 days in a hypothermic cooling therapy bed to prevent further brain damage but still suffers from some motor and feeding difficulties as a result. Though they have wonderful insurance, there are unfortunately a few key pieces of therapeutic equipment that Roslyn really needs that is not covered by their insurance mainly a pediatric therapeutic stander (to help her weight bare and learn to stand supported) and a therapeutic activity/high chair which would allow her trunk to be supported as well as her head so she can better do her feeding and occupational therapies at home. This is truly a most wonderful family and the sweetest girl. Any assistance would be so helpful. Kamila has had to leave work permanently for the foreseeable future in order to care for Roslyn so this expensive equipment is currently out of reach for them.
