As many of you know my mother had a stroke in early July. She has been recovering but there is still a lot of major rehab that is needed. In the middle of this rehab process we have run into a major issue. My family can no longer afford to fly to California and spend a few weeks with my mom to help in her recovery. My mom has sacrificed so much for my family, we cannot leave her behind in California to do her recovery alone. To solve this problem we want to move my mom to a rehab location near the majority of my family in Atlanta. Medi-Cal will not cover the transportation and if we leave my mom in California no one will be able to stay there to help with rehab and medical decisions. The cost to transport my mom in a way that is medically safe is about $7000. Many of you have asked how you can help support our family, and right now this is our most immediate need. If you fill inclined please help. Any amount will do. If each if my friends sent $5 it would move than cover the rest of the expense. I can not stress enough how any amount help: $5, $10, $50, $100 or more. We also ask that you continue to pray for my mother's recovery and for a smooth and safe trip as we move her closer to family.
