The Most Stubborn and Selfless Person I Know Needs Our Help.
She happens to be one of my best friends and mom! On October 13th, my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She is no stranger to cancer and has beat colorectal cancer a little over 20 years ago.
My mom was diagnosed with stage two grade three ductal carcinoma and while it’s been caught early, it’s still a very aggressive cancer that must be attacked head-on.
Now, she needs our help. I am my mom’s sole caregiver. I take her to every doctor appointment, every test and help her with just about everything. After all, she helped me raise my sons—it’s the very least I can do.
Cancer treatments are frequent and my mom hasn’t driven in about 5 years. Any donation made would help with household expenses so that I can be there to take her to her appointments and to cover anything she may need on this new journey.
She needs supplemental shakes for when she has no appetite, caps to keep her head nice and cozy when chemo is increased and she loses her hair, copays for medications, comfort items and items to make cancer a little more bearable.
Thank you so much for your consideration. No amount is too small. And if you are unable to donate, please give a share
Update:
Mom is currently stage two, grade three of ductal carcinoma.
