Cancer… One of the most feared words of all time has now made a daunting appearance in my family, specifically in my Aunt Patti’s life.  Now let me first tell you a little about my family... My family works as a unit.  We problem solve together, we run to aide any family member in need, we support each other, but most importantly… we Love together.  Being grateful to be a member of this family is an absolute understatement and each one of us feels this way.  There are no words to describe the amount of Love and compassion we have for each other.  My aunt was diagnosed with Stage IV ovarian cancer and it hit our family/our unit like a bag of bricks.  That unexpected heavy bag may have given us a jolt, but it has not, and will not, knock us down.  Unfortunately, the amount of love we fill each other with on a daily basis is not enough to fight the cancer.  The medical bills to treat cancer are outrageous and that is why we are asking for your love and support to help us help Patti fight cancer and beat cancer.  My family REFUSES to let cancer win.  My Aunt has stood on her own two feet during this process while we all have stood around her, arms out, and ready to pull her back up if she begins to fall.  We have started this fundraiser because we are in need of more arms to keep Patti standing strong.  The very last thing we want is to have her doing whatever she can to stand strong but have her drown in medical bills.  Every single penny will be cherished and held with the deepest appreciation by both my Aunt Patti and our family.  Thank you in advance for your Love and support!
