Sweet Baby Harper McCrary
Harper Leslie McCrary was born Sunday August 14th. She was several weeks early but arrived weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces. She stole hearts immediately!
It quickly became clear following her birth that Harper was quite sick, and she was life flighted to the Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta on Sunday afternoon. Many nurses, doctors and surgeons carefully tended to Harper to determine the cause of her sickness and on August 24th,she was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. Harper's tumor is located at the base of her spine and involved in the nerve roots of the lumbar region.
Harper had her first round of chemotherapy on Aug. 27-29th and was discharged home on Sept 12th. She was admitted on Sept. 16th to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite for her second round of chemotherapy and to continue in her fight.
Harper needs a lot of "extra" help at home which can be quite costly as most of the expenses are not covered by insurance. Please consider lending your monetary support to assist Les and Jessica at this time to provide Harper the best care available.
