Edwin G. Diaz Funeral Services

It is with a heavy heart to have to say this. I would never think this day would come. My best friend, my everything and my other half has passed on today. Edwin was 52 years old upon his passing. He was a warrior for Jesus. He suffered from pancreatic cancer and he gave it his all. He was diagnosed last 12/21 with cancer and he did 12 rounds of chemo. Edwin went in for a Whipple procedure on October 22, 2021. While in surgery doctor found cancer spread to his liver. He made the decision that he wanted no more treatment. My last words to him were to go home now. His job was done here and we will all be ok and not worry about a thing. I told him "I love you" he did squeeze my hand and he took his last breath holding my hand. With all his trials and sufferings he got his 4 boys to be stronger in their walk with God. To love one another and to get along. To work hard, because the end is near. To focus on Jesus and never give up on his words. He always worked hard for his family. Edwin was not perfect and had his struggles in life, but he never gave up. Edwin loved everyone that came into his path. Always giving to the homeless or willing to help with just anything. He was full of energy until this end. He is now in peace and finally gets to go home where he so wanted to be. Fly high Edwin (bubby) until we meet again. We love you!
