Help A Minnesota Police Officer

Mankato Police Officer Steve Hoppe was seriously injured at work so I started this campaign in hopes to help him financially through his recovery. On 9/09/16 Officer Hoppe was involved in a foot pursuit and tore his achilles tendon in half. His surgeon said he's looking at a minimum 6 to 8 months of recovery time before they'll even consider allowing him to go back to work. Officer Hoppe is a 16 year veteran of law enforcement and is married with four small children. This devastating injury is going to cost him a tremendous amount of money through lost wages, lost overtime, lost retirement benefits and associated medical expenses. Officer Hoppe was reluctant to allow me to start this campaign for him, but after talking to his family he finally decided to accept our help.
