I am an 18 years old Ecuadorian, who at his young age has tried many things with the desire to fill an emptiness in his life. A couple of weeks after I became 18, I really experinced the love of God and His miracles. I gave the Lord everything I am and since that day He has been glorifying in my life.
I have exciting news to share with you! As a recent high school graduate I have explored different options on my post-graduation plans and have decided to join the YWAM (Youth with a mission) school for a DTS (Discipleship training school). The DTS is a training school designed to send the youth to the nations into different cultural spheres, to be missionaries to communities. It consists of 3 months of training and 2 months of outreach. YWAMS mission is to know God and to make him known. I’m interested in going through an arts course, to develop a heart of worship for Jesus. For this I need people who will partner up with me to help me accomplish this vision.
The DTS starts Sept. 30, 2016 and ends March 16, 2017. I have felt the desire of getting to know God, more. My desire is to improve and strengthen my relationship with Him. A way of doing this is through using one of the talents he has given me; music. This DTS will train me for the things I mentioned before and to spread His word to the nations. Going to YWAM KC will be a huge blessing for me and to others, because I will also be able to go to a different nation to minister. I am excited to see how the Lord will work and teach new things to me and the people that will be attending YWAM KC. The money covers: lecture phase, accommodation, meals and plane tickets. And once I will be there I will know where the outreach will take place and how much it will cost. I will also raise funds for the outreach.
