Help Support Jason Maharaj & Family

My dear friend Jason Maharaj recently suffered multiple organ failure on August 2, 2016. It came as a shock to his wife and 8 year old son Jayden as he had been in good health previously.
Jason was lucky as the Hospital in Calgary was able to find a matching liver for him in just 12 hours but the family had to travel to Edmonton and the UofA hospital. Jason is still in the ICU and hasn't responded after the surgery. It's likely the family will have to live close to the Hospital as this will be a long recovery for him. I can't imagine just how hard it would be to have your spouse in ICU and have very little control of your future.
We can offer our support and try and comfort the family along this process. I am hoping that we can also help relieve the financial stress that comes with the transition to a new city.
Jason was working in the IT industry as a contractor and won't be able to work for some time.
