Mom. Those three little letters don't seem enough to describe someone who has done so much for her family. Always supporting our dreams, no matter how crazy. Always putting our needs before her own. Never wishing for anything for herself-always for others. Someone who has been a mom to us but a second mom to so many others. That is a snippet of our mom. She is an incredibly strong woman and stubborn. But unfortunately in June 2016, a visit to the ER for what turned out to be acid reflux has forever changed our lives. The doctors detected a tumor in her lung. She underwent testing and in August, had the lower third of her lung removed. We thought we were free and clear. And then the doctors told us they found cancer in the lymphnodes they tested. Stage 3. So now, chemo and radiation. 

This is where you can help. We are starting this fund to help raise money to help cover the portions of treatment that insurance won't cover. We want to give our mom the best chance at remission. We cannot do it alone. Anything you can kick in, spare lunch money, all of it added together will help more than you would know.

Please help us take care of mom like she has taken care of us. I'd like to keep this a secret from her as she is not one that would ask for help nor want to burden or inconvience anyone. Please share her fund with anyone and everyone you know. Again, any little bit helps!
