Support Greg's and Nala’s Journey to Stability

My name is Lynn. I’m 78 and live by myself with my little Yorkie, Malika. I ask you, would you turn your back on someone who needs help, for himself and his dog? When I saw Greg and his dog, Nala, sitting under that umbrella in the hot Florida sun, I had to stop and find out more about him. It didn’t take long to see Greg’s resilience in the heat of Florida and storms, and he still has the heart to smile and be kind to people. His smile, despite his own troubles, shows he tries to help others like him but gets taken advantage of. His safety, for him and his dog, is a concern. He dreams of stability, a warm bed, and a chance to work again.

He had a home and took his mother in for health reasons. She passed soon after. Then hard times struck, and he became homeless. He said he was a chef in this rural, quiet town here in Florida.

My goal for Greg is to get a small rental to keep Nala safe while Greg finds work and food for him and Nala. For animal lovers, you know that Greg cannot give Nala up to reach his goals sooner. He raised her from a pup, and she gives him comfort, like my pup, Malika. Animal lovers know this love and comfort.

Every dollar counts, kindness counts, for the sake of a human being and his dog, who should not be invisible to anyone who is better off. Life is special, no matter who or what it is. “Love Thy Neighbor” is taught in the greatest book ever written.

With your help, we can get Greg and Nala off the streets and back on his feet. Every dollar will bring him closer to safety, hope, and a place to call home. Together we can change their lives. I will manage the funds and provide updates on his progress. Hopefully, the day will come soon that I can hand that position over to him.
