Kaz shaving her head for charity

As most of you know, I have breast cancer.  I've had a bilateral total mastectomy and am about to start my chemotherapy.  The chemotherapy that I have been prescribed is a particularly strong one so I will lose my hair.  I have decided to shave my head in anticipation, and I thought if I could raise some funds for charity at the same time at least some good could come from this whole experience!

I have chosen three charities to contribute to.  The Breast Cancer Research Foundation to contribute to their groundbreaking work.  The Cancer Council, because they provide funding to many rare and currently untreatable cancers, and when I was diagnosed I thanked the lords that I hadn't been diagnosed with one of them.  Finally, the ANZAC appeal, because I will be shaving my hair on ANZAC day and it seemed only appropriate to pay tribute to past and present ANZACs in some way. 

I will be shaving my head on ANZAC day, from 5pm at the Caragabal Pub (after the 4pm service at the Cenotaph).  Any contributions will be gratefully accepted - although I will be just as happy to recieve a prayer or positive vibe from you wonderful people!

It will be a progressive shave, depending on the funds raised:
$200 - Mohawk shave - yes I'll leave it like that for a while for giggles.
$500 - Full head shave #2
$1000 - Razor shave - ooohhh shiny!
