In support of Janis

Hi my name is April (Bertsch), I’m a long time friend of Janis’s although many of you may not know or remember me. I moved to Lexington, KY in what would have been my freshman year of high school at Trail many years ago. I’ve been blessed to keep and carry my friendship with Janis since we were young girls. If you know Janis you know she has friends near and far. She would give a stranger the shirt off her back, in fact she doesn’t know a stranger. Janis is the ultimate manifestation of all things happy, loving and kind. It is with great sorrow I share with you tragedy has struck Janis’s life and the life of her beloved family. She has suffered a loss all parents dread and fear; Janis lost her first born son Jordan Buckley in an automobile accident in the early morning of July 13, 2021. Many have reached out asking how to help Janis and her family during this difficult time. Janis graciously appreciates your thoughtfulness, and only asks for prayers that she may find peace concerning this tragedy. On behalf of Janis, I am asking for any monetary donations you can offer to help her during this calamitous time. All donations will go directly to Janis to support her in this time of need as you can imagine the expenses and financial burden a sudden tragic loss of life like this can cause a grieving Mother.
