In 2014 Zach was diagnosed with Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at aged 22months.
After a year and a half of treatment which was responding well, with a year and a half to go, we got news in July that Zachs Cancer had returned. After 1 month of intense chemo he has not responded as well as we hoped.
They are looking at starting other treatment options such as Immunotherapy to get him back into remission to begin the process of a bone marrow transplant. Due to all the treatments and risk from being so far away from The Royal Children's Hospital Julie is unable to go home until he has had his transplant and everything is going well.
