Help for Harland Family

Donation protected
The Harland family of Lynn Haven, Florida needs your help.  On the morning of April 6, 2016, the father, Carl Harland (just 47 years old), was rushed to Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center coughing up blood and short of breath.  He was taken there by his employer, Golden Corral.  His wife, Windy Klauss Harland, was called and she rushed there to be with him.  It was determined he had double pneumonia that had spread to his heart and sepsis which was affecting other organs as well.  His condition worsened and his heart weakened. On Saturday the hospital made the decision to put him on a ventilator, During this time, his heart stopped twice.  During one of those times, his heart stopped for 12 minutes before it was restored by CPR.  He was put on a ventilator.  He continued to decline and since then he has had kidney failure and had to be on dialysis.  There is an indication that he suffered an anoxic brain injury from the 12 minutes his heart had stopped.  He stayed at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center for 15 days and on the 22nd of April was transferred to Select Specialty Hospital at Bay Medical Center to continue treatment and to try to be weaned from the respirator and attempt to begin rehab.  Currently he is still not conscious, is on dialysis, is breathing via ventiltor through a trachetomy and has a feeding tube.

As you can imagine, this has been devasting for his family. Carl's wife, Windy, works in accounting at Cyber Sytes, Inc., a web design firm in Panama City Beach and is a dance instructor at the Academy of Dance and Performing Arts. They have 3 beautiful girls:  Madison, age 16, a student at Mosley High School, a gymnastics  champion at Panastics Gymnastics, and a member of the Dazzler Dance team from the Academy of Dance and Performing Arts; Emma, age 12, a student at Bay Haven Charter Academy and an eager participant in Bay County Youth Soccer; and Anslie, age 8, a student at Bay Haven Charter Academy and a member of the Dazzler Dance team from the Academy of Dance and Performing Arts.

This family needs your help.  Carl did have medical insurance, although it has a very high deductible.  So with all the medical costs, the fact that he is unable to work to support his family, and the ongoing treatment he is going to need, his family is in dire financial straits.  They have a mortgage to maintain, a car payment, insurance and fuel costs, medical insurance premiums, utilities, and living expenses.

Can you please give a little something to help out this family  right now? If so, thank you so much. If not, your prayers and kind support in other ways is most appreciated.
